Stephanie Germon, LMHC

I’ve tried multiple therapists, but Stephanie was the first time where I felt comfortable enough to exhale. She has a way of disarming you with a firm gentleness. It never feels like she’s just going through the motions. Maybe it’s because of her military service, but when she’s engaged, she’s literally locked in and gives you a level of focused attention that makes you feel seen and heard. She also does a great job of holding me accountable with probing questions. These have proved beneficial in getting to the root of many issues especially in understanding the perspective of others. She does an excellent job of sending resources (books or worksheets) that compliment the sessions. She creates a soothing and comfortable physical and emotional space. Her room is decorated nicely with minimal distractions. Her prices are reasonable considering the value gained in the sessions. I highly recommend Stephanie for individual, couple and family therapy.

If I could give this woman a 0 I would. She's patronizing, condescending, degrading, and I didn't even get past the consult. She had pulled incorrect info regarding my insurance, and while trying to figure out what the problem was, she told me that she was simply out of network anyway (she wasn't), said to me "oh, okay sweetie, whatever," then hung up. I called back, for no good reason I admit, I supposed to try and figure out what was going on but I was honestly just irritated. When she answered I said, "Hi, I'm the woman you just hung up on and would like to ask a few questions." Her response was simply "I didn't hang up on you. I informed you about your insurance, told you I would not be helping you. It is not my fault you cannot listen. Sweetheart, just (and then said something that sounded like 'just deal with it' but I'm not sure)" and then hung up on me again. She supposedly is a professional and speaks to people like this?

Stephanie is the only therapist my daughter opened up with she made her feel comfortable and this helped me and my daughters relationship. Can’t wait to start again!

I have been seeing Stephanie for about 4 months now and she is a wonderful, caring therapist. I would highly recommend her!
