Telehealth
While Stephanie is one of a select few providers at Ochsner (our of several dozen) in the last 4 years who has treated me properly as a patient, I've been given several months of runaround concerning documentation State Police require a prescribing provider to fill out.I had applied for a concealed carry permit. one of the RX that I take requires a form to be filled out by the prescribing provider. Stephanie has stated, and says she confirmed with her Dept Head, that Ochsner does not fill them out but a forensic psychiatrist needs to, referring me to Tulane and LSU (specifically a Dr Sanderson at LSU per her dept head). Tulane and LSU stated the will not fill out a form for another provider's RX (State Police CONFIRMED the form is for the prescribing provider to fill). LSU also stated that Dr Sanderson has not worked with them for years. Upon being advised of this information, Stephanie still refused to fill out the documentation, saying I need to find a forensic psychiatrist for it.
