Dr. Stephen Diggs, PSY

Dr. Diggs was professional and compassionate. He never judged and always encouraged me with my abilities to navigate difficult situations. I got my voice back because of him.

Dr. Diggs was my therapist when I was a teenager, about 17 years ago. He was the only therapist that helped me understand that therapy is necessary. I still appreciate his work from all of those years ago and noe working towards becoming a therapist, myself.

I was very dissatisfied with the services of Dr Stephen Diggs. I did not feel he understood my situation and condition well nor did he offer helpful advice. I felt he operated outside his scope of practice in involving himself in real estate situations in which he did not have expertise or adequate information and understanding. In doing so I suffered very significantly both emotionally and financially. I feel that working with Dr Diggs was very traumatizing to me. I had expected the experience to be reparative but found it to be re traumatizing instead. Doctor Diggs seemed unable to provide consistent information and he often contradicted himself. I found his attitude to be quite arrogant and not accountable. I would not recommend his services. By his own admission he characterized our relationship as dysfunctional. I did not find him to be well grounded in himself and his role as the therapist.

Best personality disorder and trauma/anxiety disorder therapist out there. I have seen 12, none that could help me and that’s excluding the rehabs and facilities that I’ve been to. He was the only one who was able to actually help me get my life back. I’m very grateful for NYSA Therapy. The staff is very friendly, warm and welcoming.
