Dr Houghton has been my eye doctor for years and now my children eye dr. I am really shocked about the negative review of him being condescending. He’s soooo good with kids. Even funny and makes small talk. He’s always professional and his staff is always nice.

The doctor was very helpful and caring. He even took the time to ask my middle school aged daughter what she wanted to study and suggested that she consider becoming an optometrist. He included the steps necessary and the benefits of choosing optometry as a career. She ended up not needing glasses and his prescription for me was perfect.

Dr. Houghton at For Eyes in Kendall was very rude, condescending and very unprofessional towards my daughter and myself. I have never been treated in this manner by a medical professional. I will NEVER go back to him. He is a terrible optometrist and should retire!!

This is the second time I've seen the good Doctor. I was going to the Bascom Palmer but it got too expensive. So a friend suggested For Eyes. He is very professional. And I feel my eyes are in good hands. He gives old information and helps with preventive medicine.
