Good credentials
I’ve seen him twice. He seems to be in a hurry. Has a couple of practiced answers to questions, but sometimes responds too quickly and misses the question. Seems to know his stuff, but is always on the clock, so to speak.

The visit was fine. Staff was very nice, office was clean. I have been diagnosed with Wet Age Related Macular Degeneration. The exam seemed thorough. He did an eye scan and said he would call me the following Monday, no call. I waited a week, no call. I called and they said he was with a patient and would call me as soon as he finished with the patient. No call. A couple of days later I was referred to the lab. I had to leave a VM and was told they would call me in 24-48 hours. No call. So, here I sit thirteen days later and still no call. I was looking for a permanent eye care professional but I don't think this office is a good fit.

For several years I have had issues related to dry eyes. After doing the dry eye test a few years back Dr. Kimmell explained to me that there was a procedure to help with my dry eyes, Lipoflow. In March 2019 I decided to do the procedure of Lipoflow. Since March, I have seen great results. I see more clearly than at any time I can remember in my life, my eyes are less tired at the end of each day and as an online college student I am able to sit in front of the computer for longer periods of time. I am thankful to Dr. Kimmell and staff for all that they did before, during and after the procedure. Chad R. Garrett

Dr. Kimmell is professional, informative and thorough. After his recommendation for me to take eye vitamins, I've seen an improvement in my eye health. I would recommend him to anyone who wants a thorough eye exam. I feel confident that he gives his patients excellent care.

Office lied about what was covered by insurance. Had to make two visits just to get a prescription. Both visits took two hours. Never give these people your money.

Dr. Kimmell saw my husband at a nursing home. He told him he had cataracts, but when I took him to his own eye doctor 4 months later, my husband has no evidence of cataracts at all. Also, the new glasses that were made for my husband fell apart 1 week after he got them. Definitely would not recommend this doctor.
