If I could give him 0 stars I would. Utterly unprofessional. He never said relax, did not introduce himself. He would not speak to my husband who can better explain the issue. His phone was going off throughout testing. He used the bathroom in his office where the testing was done. His phone rang during testing and he answered it! I tried to ask a few questions and he said to hold them for the follow up. Yup, that lasted 5 minutes. for the bargain price of $866. After insurance. Absolute robbery.

Seems to have very little ability to listen. I have regretted working with this guy since the day we visited his office. He took cognitive test results that had diminished from above the 90th percentile down to single digits and spun that into a very harmful report of "mildly this" and "moderately that" which will cost me thousands of dollars for the rest of my life. If you are thinking of working with this person - THINK AGAIN!

I went to see him in 2017. Similar to other reviews, he was unusually arrogant. When I asked my PCP if he ever met Dr. Shindell he replied no but liked his written evaluations. I shared with my PCP that he was very arrogant- a word I use rarely to describe someone. I encouraged my PCP to stop referring patients to Shindell

I need an evaluation to get additional special education since I was applying for Law school and needed the evaluation in less than 30 days. The staff was very flexible with getting me in the office in the time frame provided. They even called me when a sooner time slot opened up............Dr. Shindell was very professional and honest with me. Thank you for getting the job done and now I can finish the process for getting into Law School!

He misdiagnosed my brain impairment, I lost my long term disability, lost my home, EVERYTHING. ALWAYS get a copy of his report. I didn't until 5 years later when I was CORRECTLY diagnosed. I came from Michigan to get "the best care". I LOST EVERYTHING.

He diagnosed me with a "somatoform disorder." The truth is that I have Lupus. I wouldn't trust this "doctor" to diagnose a rat with fleas.

The most arrogant individual I have ever experienced. He was condescending, rude, obnoxious; far from professional and objective. It pains me to think of him in a psychology profession influencing people in need and misguiding them due to his pure self focus and arrogance. He is a creep. I am thankful to know during the first 30 min of a 1 hour visit that he is NOT capable of providing authentic professional care.

What a quack. The positive reviews are complete BS. Arrogant & uncaring in every way possible. How does a Neuropsychologist never ask how you're feeling? Never met a man more full of himself. His assessments are shoddy. His methods and testing are completely outdated. Under no circumstances take any medication based on his evaluation. He will have to you so messed up you won't remember your name. He's just in the business for quick money not your health! Someone get that man tested!

I find Dr. Shindell to be a brilliant, highly trained professional who couples this brilliance with compassion, sensitivity and a deep intuition and understanding. In the times that I have visited him, I have always left his office being able to see the proverbial forest without focusing on the many little trees. It has been my pleasure to refer anyone I feel could benefit from his expert counsel. I consider Dr. Shindell to be a trusted and highly valued member of my family's medical team.

I went to see him at the request of my neurologist for a neurological assessment. I expected it to be challenging because of the type of assessments I knew I would be asked to do. Having done similar testing 8 years ago, I felt comfortable repeating that type of assessment for a more current baseline. What I didn't recognize then that I do know is how much impact the psychologist's affect has on the experience. If asked by my friends whether I would recommend him, that answer would be NO!
