I'm so dissapointed with this office visit. This is the first time I see this doctor and I switched due to insurance coverage. I have been using prescribed eye drops for about 10 years, get a yearly eye exam and have always gotten a yearly prescription for these drops. Upon arrival, I filled out the forms required and made sure I noted this as well as needing a prescription. The overall exam went well I guess and I did bring up the prescription needed to the doctor, he just said "oh yes". Since they had dilated my eyes I was mostly concentrating on that since it does affect your vision for a while. When I got home, I realized I didn't get the prescription and I called. The girl took my name, number and reason for calling (no call back). I called in the morning to ask again and was told that this doctor does not issue prescriptions. Why was I not told this from the very beginning, it was right there on the chart and also mentioned it to the doctor!! Yearly benefits gone!! :(

Saw Dr. FERTIG a few weeks ago and am so thrilled at how well I can see now! Love the contacts he prescribed. He is a really nice fellow and I felt at ease with him. The staff was very kind also. I plan to go to him for many years!
