Dr. Steven Mahoney, DC

I was lucky to find Dr. Mahoney at Atlas family Chiropractic Center in Columbia, MD. When I first visited his office, I was in pain due to peripheral neuropathy. He gave me strength and told me he would take me as his patient. I look forward to my appointments every week because Dr. Mahoney is really curing me of this horrible disease. Everything he does for me is really making me feel better. No pills, by the way! If you ever need a chiropractic, please call Dr. Mahoney. His office is cheerful and it seems that everyone who works in his office really belongs there. Not only is Dr. Mahoney a very nice, cheerful, and compassionate doctor, but he trains his assistants to be just like him. They all make you feel good. Bethany, his assistant, will treat you like if you are part of her own family. That’s how important patients are for Atlas Family Chiropractic Center.

I have been seeing Dr. Mahoney off and on for several years. In fact, my entire family has been going to him. He is very friendly and professional, as well as his office staff . And I always see great improvement after a series of visits to his office. There is never a long wait for treatment, and he is very flexible with scheduling. Can't think of one thing I could ask him to improve!

I go to Dr. Mahoney at the Towson location. He and his staff are so helpful, flexible, and affordable! I need regular adjustments and can just walk in and get one! There may be a little bit of a wait, depending on how many others are there, but it's never long, and usually is very quick. He tailors what he does to the individual needs of his patients and is always upbeat and caring! SUPER!

Dr . Mahoney has been very helpful in improving my quality of life. I have had very bad back pain that sometimes made it difficult for me at work. Since I have been seeing Dr Mahoney I have had much less difficulty with my back pain as well as an overall improvement in my health. I would and have recommended Dr Mahoney highly.

Mahoney is one of the most cheerful and professional doctors I've had the pleasure of attending. He's been upfront and clear about my treatment plan and costs. I couldn't imagine using a different chiropractor. After 2 months, my hip and lower back is almost 100% fixed! No more numbness or pain!

Dr. Mahoney is Aaaaa....maaaaa...zing!!!!! I started going to him when I was having Sciatic problems. Even though the sciatic pain has subsided - I still go on a monthly basis just to keep things aligned. He's incredibly knowledgeable and very professional. He has the type of personality that makes you feel at ease and comfortable. I would...and have on many occasions...HIGHLY recommend Dr Mahoney.

Dr.Mahoney has been wonderful. The initial review is very thorough and educational. He walks you through and educates you as he goes. He doesnt take my insurance but the copays are very affordable.

I've been coming to Dr. Mahoney for just over a year. Prior to working with Dr. Mahoney, I had dealt with one other chiropractor who seemed to go into cracking my back without giving much explanation. What I like about Dr. Mahoney is that he takes the time to give a fairly thorough evaluation beforehand, and he gives a lot of information about the general procedures. Another bonus is that the office staff is amazingly friendly and always a pleasure to work with.

I've had treatment in Dr. Mahoney's office for the past 9 months and have been very happy with my treat. He's an educator and shows videos to his clients for them to understand their need for his chiropractic services. I never quite understood what a chiropractic did and the importance of alignments for maintaining good over all health. The appointments are quick and easy to fit into my schedule.

I spent lots of money on chiropractors to work on my back and neck for just a little relief. They could not help me..none of them did ex-ray. Dr. Mahoney did ex-ray and his assessment PLUS treatment HEALED my BACK and NECK with just 12 adjustments for a lot less than you can imagine. If your insurance will not cover the service he will work with you. He is about healing!!!
