I have been looking for a therapist for years who I felt totally comfortable with and I feel really fortunate to have finally found that in Steven. He is a gifted therapist and has a caring and direct style that makes honest communication feel natural and easy. Our sessions are not overly formal- I sometimes feel like I'm chatting with a friend, and he is not afraid to relate anecdotes from his own experiences, which I appreciate- but he is also willing to give you hard truths when they are needed. He is an intelligent and kind person who is a great listener and gives real-world practical advice that has truly made a difference in my life. Steven is great at helping you feel at ease and creating an environment where open, honest communication feels natural. Steven is great. Scheduling was always easy because he makes an effort to be flexible. Sessions were productive because he would not just listen and make me feel heard, but also because he offered great tools I could take into my life when obstacles and challenges presented themselves.

Steven uses an eclectic approach to handling issues with my child. He identifies social and emotional events and incorporates positive regard and coping skills. He is open to parental suggestions while always keeping his client's interests foremost.
