Went to visit Ms. Sonosky for a specific problem concerning myself. However, during our discussions, she was able to recognize a matter involving a child that was having a variety of challenges. She provided excellent referrals allowing me to explore options that were productive in helping this individual. In most cases, I have discovered that not one person or institution can wrap up a problem in a single effort. One must have long-term goals, patience, and the ability to decipher when more help is needed. There were setbacks, however, when one has the understanding and correct professional support, the result is worth the time spent in recovery. She has fantastic insight and years of experience working with children and adolescents. As for the issue regarding myself, I was able to find further guidance. It became a stepping stone on a journey for self-help and awareness identifying the root of the problem which was anxiety. She tends to be opinionated.
