Dr. Susan Davis, PHD

I find Dr. Davis to be caring, professional and willing to listen. I am extremely happy to have her as my psychologist.

Dr. Susan Davis' is the only doctor in my area that does ADHD testing for teens, which means I have to drive over an hour to her office for an appointment scheduled for 0830. Her office calls me when I am less than 10 minutes away to notify me, she called out for the day. The complete lack of professionalism is beyond anything I have experienced going to numerous providers. Mind you, if I were to notify her less than 48 hours out that I couldn't make an appointment, she'd change me $150 fee; yet they didn't offer to reimburse me for my time, money (time off I took), and gas she wasted. Based on reading the reviews, I can tell she clearly shouldn't be in this profession. Don't waste your time or money.

Judges based on the way you look and leads in questions. Unwilling to listen to the actual words i was saying, and kept over-explaining the questions so that i would answer in the way she wanted me to. It was over the moment we saw each other. Asked about what my traumas were with no emotion or care and asked me to go into detail, which just made me extremely on edge and uncomfortable the entire time. Bases everything on old, worn out stereotypes and is very set in her ways. Judgemental, forgot that I was in the room and i had to leave and go get her to find her playing on her phone after 30 minutes of me sitting alone in the evaluation room. Worst experience of my life, made me lose a major amount of trust in the profession. I would never ever see her again.

extremely rude and dismissive. diagnoses based on your looks and heavily judges your chart in a harsh manor and forms opinions of you before you even arrive. discriminates based on neurological and psychological stereotypes and negative stigma so, if you’re not showing stereotypical depictions of neurological disorders you see in the media she won’t help you but she will judge and discriminate against you based off the stereotypes and negative of psychological disorders you have don’t try to explain yourself and how you actually feel because she will throw her “phd” and preconceived notions of you in your face.

Had an appointment scheduled for over a month for my daughter to see her, then we got a call three days before the appointment letting me know she was no longer seeing patients on that day and they wanted to schedule my daughter another month out. So disappointing when patients need mental health treatment and you toss them aside. You were our last hope after searching throughout Ocala for a decent psychologist that wouldn't shuffle my child through like cattle. I suppose your outsourced call center to India for scheduling should have been my first red flag.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. My mother has cognitive decline and it has taken months to have her medical records released to her neurologist (and they still haven't been released at this point). I have called multiple times and they have promised to send it each time. At this point they have cost my mother money for appointments with the neurologist under the belief that he had all of the data points including the cognitive exam results, and precious time. It is impossible to regain her memory and it has continued to decline during this waiting period. Absolutely ridiculous and harmful.

Dr. Susan Davis not supposed to see any patients. She skierd me when she start to yield on me in her office. I was witness of young man crying walking out of her office and saying so she in not a doctor, because she is not helping but making worst-case for him. Other time some patient came with a police, after visiting with her for an appointment. For me was the most horrible doctor visit in total life.
