After several months of working with her she insisted that I had depression and encouraged me to take medication. As a recovering addict, I don't believe in using drugs to alleviate any issues I was experiencing. After one of our sessions I was so triggered by her approach that It led to a mental breakdown. I thought It was unprofessional that she brought up payment during our session that my insurance owed her. In the end, I couldn't agree with her approach and had to stop seeing her.
