Susan Isaacson

Susan has been a tremendous help in my life, especially when i was going through some serious emotional trauma. I highly recommend her. She listens, cares, and asks questions that really make you think about things and i feel so much better after a session with her. I am writing to share my overwhelmingly positive experience with Susan. From our initial interaction, I felt an immediate sense of comfort and trust. Her ability to provide both unwavering support and frank, insightful guidance has been immensely helpful to me. Susan has been working with my 14 year old son for a little over two months. Remarkably, in just a short amount of time, she has had an impact. Besides helping my husband and me see our son clearly, Susan has helped my son start to make changes in his life that will bring about positive outcomes (that he wants but was having difficulty getting to). This is not my son’s first experience with therapy, however it is the most positive experience he has had! He was not happy about attending therapy, but once he started working with Susan his attitude changed. We know this will most likely be a marathon, not a sprint, but our whole family is feeling very hopeful that things are looking up!!

Susan is an amazing therapist. She has helped me in tremendous ways and I feel so thankful to have met her. I would recommend her to anyone who is in need of someone to talk to.

Susan has been a blessing in the darkest days of my life. In a situation that has brought me to my knees, she has helped me understand more than I ever knew possible. She is a woman who will challenge you and say it like it is. Susan not only listens, she takes notes to remember important moments. I love the way she holds me accountable for my words and my behaviors. Susan is not my first therapist but she is by far the best I have ever had. Her words and guidance might not change my situation but they will forever change me. I believe I will be a better person in so many ways thanks to my sessions with Susan. She might not be the one for everyone but she is definitely the one for me..

The most important thing for me that I was looking for in my sessions is a good listener, someone who was going to be patient and take things into perspective and provide intelligent & timely feedback. I found that in Susan. It's rare to come across someone who remembers some of the past details that were discussed and brings it back around to make a point and at times an impact on your path forward. I'm happy I found Susan.

I am so thankful that I found Susan. She is knowledgeable, understanding, and is able to discuss any and all topics with a neutral mindset offering valuable insight. The growth that I've achieved this year would not have been possible without Susan's help. I am a therapist myself for over 10 years of clinical practice and she helps me discovered new perspectives, access new resources, and truly checks me in a way that is thoughtful and appropriate. I’m so fortunate to have found her. Timing was spot on!

We've been working with Susan for several months and found her insights and intuition to be spot on. What stands out for us is Susan's compassion and empathy. Her patient, attentive listening are qualities we were looking for in a counselor. I felt soooooo comfortable talking with Susan. Her "bedside manor" is top notch. I can't recommend her enough. She helped me through numerous situations and I thoroughly trust her.

Susan is the best counselor I've ever had. I've had others in the past that were very good, but Susan takes the cake. She's a great listener, is sympathetic, is fully attentive in every session, and has been able to guide me to where I want to be by helping me figure it out myself. She's cultured, educated, down to earth, and "gets it" (especially considering I have a strange and esoteric career in the arts). I've been working through a rough patch and big transitions in my personal and married life. I was certainly stressed out and probably depressed going into sessions. Fast forward several weeks, and I (and my wife) have already noticed significant improvements in our lives. I'm amazed at how attentive she is to details, and how she's able to synthesize multitudes of unique and complicated situations to inform next steps. This has all been remote over FaceTime, but it has been the most effective therapy I've had. I feel more like myself now than I have a in a long time. 10/10!

It’s so refreshing to find a counselor who loves her job and truly does what is necessary to help you through tough circumstances. I started seeing Susan for my marriage and she has helped me tremendously with my self esteem and has taught me how to remember how to value myself above all else. I am happy to recommend Susan. My partner and I have had a couple of sessions with Susan , she has been amazing at listening to our concerns and is so patient and extremely knowledgeable. We are lucky to have her and hope our relationship gets better each visit.

I realize it is very difficult to find a thorough therapist that is compassionate & attentive along with having an extensive knowledge who is able to lead with a gentle yet straightforward approach. I've reached out to over a dozen in the last 2 years so believe me when I say: Susan is all that and more. In today's times of betterhelp & video calls, Susan is a person that is not only professional, but accommodating & flexible while genuinely caring about people. If you're still reading this review then I want you to know that I've gotten more out of 5 hours with Susan than I have with months of talking elsewhere. Absolutely would recommend to anyone & everyone! From kids to adults to couples she is capable of it all. I truly am fortunate to have met her, and hope to keep seeing her as long as I can.

I have been seeing Susan for several months and can not say enough about her. She is extremely warm and welcoming, very honest and straight forward , and helps you see things outside the box that you never would have thought to do. She doesn’t “Sugar coat” things and makes you feel like you and your over all wellness ,are her priority as much as yours. I walk out of her office with this feeling that I can conquer an issues that come before me. Susan has helped my daughter immeasurably. My daughter went from having no self esteem and no self confidence, especially through the trials of the pandemic, to feeling confident and happy. My daughter started seeing Susan in 2020 and now we see Susan as my daughter lets me know she would like to.
