Susan helped me through a particularly challenging time in my life. Susan is exceptionally empathetic and insightful. She wanted to understand me and I always looked forward to feeling cared for during our sessions. That feeling of being cared for lead me to trust her. She's knowledgeable, experienced, and humorous. A genuinely nice person who has a lot of clinical knowledge, yet she always demonstrated concern for me which was real, compassionate, needed, and helpful.

Susan just totally “gets it” and “gets me.” She has a great sense of humor and has helped me realize SO many things about myself (most of them great things!). Balancing the extremes of a “cheerleader” and pragmatist is hard - but Susan has it down to a science. I always leave her office feeling better about myself, with practical takeaways I can immediately apply in my life - and they work. She is in high demand and I am only now writing this because I finally scored a weekly slot :).

I have been seeing Susan for nearly two (2) years. She is incredibly kind, intelligent, thoughtful, pragmatic/realistic, and accessible. I am not that experienced with working with Psychotherapists, but very much value her approach to counseling her clients/patients. I am (unfortunately) an attorney; Susan would be my first choice to refer clients with mental health issues. Working with her has been and continues to be a privilege.

Susan is the best therapist I have ever had. She has been helping me deal with my anxiety and depression. She cares deeply about my well being and growth. I have been to quite a few therapists and I find Susan very warm, non judgmental and accepting. She is a good listener and very empathetic. It's hard to find a good therapist. I highly recommend her.

I felt completely judged by Susan and was quite taken back by her dramatic- over the top reactions to things that I should feel safe discussing with a social worker. We spent two sessions with me answering the same questions. I paid out of pocket for almost a word for word history presentation of the same items. I have been to a number of therapists and was new to the area so I tried her. I would not recommend her style for someone in need of guidance.
