Very disappointed!
If I had a choice I wouldn’t give even one star for this review! I saw Susan H. Mccutcheon on Tuesday January 11,22. Her diagnosis was: Bilateral keratitis sicca (CMS-HCC); Suspected glaucoma of both eyes; and Nuclear age-related cataract, both eyes. When I was asked if anyone in my family had glaucoma, I said NO. She said, lots of people end up in ER, vomiting, headaches and pain and they even don’t know they have glaucoma. Very encouraging…I was not able to sleep that night after visit, I was depressed, scared and emotionally distressed! One thing is to be HONEST with the patient, but not intimidate the patient. Also, during my visit she pulled my mask over the nose, ( I was not able to breathe). Her answer was: what you think, we have to deal with the mask all day. So unprofessional! I went for second professional opinion and yes I have “Dry eyes” but NO glaucoma, and NO cataract! I was correctly diagnosed by other doctor and my dry eyes are under control with proper medication.

I first saw Dr. McCutcheon on the 21st of August, 2015 for a condition called Iritis. She was caring and professional. I continued with Dr. McCutcheon through Oct. 23, 2015 on just about a weekly basis. I left for our Florida home and continued with my eye doctor in Florida. When I came back to Michigan in May of this year, I once again saw Dr. McCutcheon who I find to be a superior eye Doctor.

My first appointment was well over two hours. My second appointment was nearly an hour to deliver a trial pair of contacts. My third appointment to check the contacts as one did not fit correctly was at least an hour with no solution to the problem. I was ordered a new set of the contacts weeks ago an needed to call the optical department to see where I stood at getting them. The optical department could not readily locate the orders or the contacts and would need to call me back.
