Not Trustworthy & A Waste of Time
At each visit she talked mostly about herself & seemed paranoid about her job security. This wasn't what I was paying for. When I requested a glp-1 for insulin resistance, I was given a lecture on 'vanity' & how she could 'get in trouble'. Aurora Healthcare needs to get with the times, because it's now proven that glp-1's can safely help Type 1 insulin dependant diabetics with their A1C goals & insulin resistance issues. This wasn't about 'vanity'. Because she was worried more about herself, she tried to dump me on one of Aurora's endos, who had TERRIBLE reviews. Surprised? No. I could tell she wanted to offload me from day one. Her office didn't know how to send a script to the pharmacy for vials. Was asked why I'm not on pens. Frankly, none of their business & not my problem that they couldn't make the conversions. Aurora needs to get their NP's some training to effectively care for diabetics of all types. Of course more $ made sending you to a 'specialist'!!
