Late to appointment and she seems very apathetic. I didn’t like her personality. I don’t feel like I received quality health care from her. I won’t be making another appointment with her. She doesn’t seem interested in her patients.

Definitely Recommend; You won't regret it!
Dr. Cunningham is the best psychiatrist I've had so far. The last doctor was rude, dismissive and distant. However, Dr. Cunningham has been incredibly responsive, she has listened to my problems and issues attentively, and we have built an awesome rapport. This is one of the few times where I have felt that a mental health professional has listened to my concerns, reviewed my mental health information with me and made a concise and decisive choice to help me. She read my chart information, explained things that my prior psychiatrist either refused to or dismissed, and has been incredibly understanding in my mental health journey. Her humor is warm and welcoming and a relief as there are not that many people that are adaptable to my specific brand of sarcasm and humor, but she's been amazing!

I’ve been under the care of Sydney Cunningham, NP, for almost two years. She’s been very caring and professional. I feel safe and cared for, even during this pandemic.

Ms. Cunningham is the most responsive medical provider I have ever worked with. We have a complicated mental health scenario including both Autism Spectrum Disorder and Bipolar I. This is compounded by the fact that the patient is a recent high school graduate in these crazy times. We are new to the world of psychotic features and after one hospitalization we are desperate to avoid another. When these things are new to you and they involve your child, they are terrifying. Ms. Cunningham has been creative in finding ways to talk directly to the patient in spite of the pandemic and has made herself available to us without regard for appointments and - at least once - normal office hours. We have been treated well by her staff even though we have not always been so patient ourselves. Ms. Cunningham is the cool voice of reason when you are in a crisis involving a loved one (especially a first born). We are very grateful that our family found her.

literally every time i tell her any of my symptoms she completely invalidates me. she is one of the most insensitive people i’ve ever met. honestly at this point i’d rather have no psychiatrist than to have to see her.

Absolutely one of the rudest people in the medical field that I had ever met! I had been stable on my medication since 2014. My psychiatrist left the practice and I was scheduled with her. I had just lost my grandmother a week earlier and she literally was questioning why I was so sad and upset. She was unsympathetic and uncaring and just rude. She said since it was my first time seeing her that I had to come back in a month. I scheduled with a different provider because of how rude she was. Last week, I called the office because I was doing a self quarantine with my kids due to the Coronavirus. The office staff said not to worry because telemed would be available. I called today to get info on how to do telemed and was told the person I was scheduled with didn’t offer telemed and I needed to see Sydney or nothing. Talk about making a hard time in life even tougher. I am certainly not looking forward to it, but if I don’t, the. GA Behavioral Health holds my medication hostage. :(

1st time visit very cold was hoping to get information on aspergers which it States that she has is experienced in but acted like she knew very little about it in regards to getting help in dealing with my husband. I would not waste my time ever again with her. Having marital issues quite honestly she told me to leave him why are you staying get a divorce. most bizarre appointment I've ever been to.

I really wished I took the reviews below to heart before seeing Sydney Cunningham. She was not warm or friendly. She spoke so soft that I could barely hear her. Her demeanor and attitude came off nonchalant and it didn’t seem like she took my feedback in regards to trying new medication out seriously. Especially after I sincerely expressed my concern and issue with certain side effects, she was set on prescribing a certain drug and not really addressing the feelings I had about it. The only real emotion I got was when she laughed about something I mentioned in regards to my culture that wasn’t funny. So you can see the professionalism isn’t there. I deeply regret this appointment and money spent.

Cunningham was very condescending, she smirked whenever I told her my problems and even nagged me about not filling one part of the form even though I let her know I wasn’t aware of it. She seemed annoyed and had a sarcastic tone whenever I tried to explain her my problems. I wouldn’t make an appointment with her again.

Dr. Cunningham treats me with kindness & respect, and takes the time to listen. Her candor & relatable disposition is refreshing, I feel like I'm talking to a "real" person -- unlike many Dr.'s, who regurgitate impersonal medical info & pharma rep sponsored bias. I'd give 5 stars, if it weren't for the practice, which leaves much to be desired: Wait times are unpredictable, from 5 min to 2 HOURS! The front desk is unknowledgeable & often rude The decor is dated & drab Location is tricky to find
