Physical exam not performed
I saw this provider with my daughter. She tested positive for influenza B. A physical exam was not performed. As a provider myself I know this is basic medical standard of care. I am also aware it is part of the required documentation within the CVS algorithm. I assume the provider will be falsely reporting exam findings today. Unacceptable. Fortunately I can perform my own exam on her, but I fear for those who are not aware of what a standard evaluation and management encounter entails. I was unable to connect with customer service. On hold for about 30 minutes.
