Dr. Tamer Fawzy, LPCC

He was mean to my children. His job was to identify the issues… instead he belittled my children, called them names and was cruel. He is the worst therapist I have ever known.

He shared confidential information about another patient with me when I arrived one day and found him cleaning up urine in his office. He also shared my confidential information with someone unauthorized, and he refused to provide my file to another provider until I paid my bill--however, my visits were covered by insurance and he'd never submitted anything to my insurance. When he finally did, he included extra visits, and dates that his office wasn't even open. I submitted a detailed complaint to the state board, but they ultimately ruled that they didn't have enough evidence. What a joke! It was 2 years later that I finally had the courage to see another therapist because Tamer Fawzy traumatized me.

Never addressed my inner emotions and blew my problems up more than they should have been. Made me feel more anxious and helpless after every time I went.
