She came in with my chart, saying something about a negative test result, to which I said What?? and then she said, Oh, no, I'm not reading the right thing. That was unpleasant. Then she said, Well, you don't really want a breast exam, right? You had a mammogram last year. So no breast exam. The PAP smear was... awkward, and painful. I bled for a couple hours afterwards, which I've never had before in 20 years of PAPs. I had asked for an appt with a doctor, not a nurse. Wholly not-good experience, could not recommend to others.

Kind and attentive, asks the right questions and remembers details about you which really makes the care feel personal! I saw Dr. Tiburcio for an IUD insertion following a negative experience with another doctor out of state, and was amazed at how quick and easy the insertion was. Dr. Tiburcio listened and responded to my concerns about pain with insertion and made the experience seamless despite it typically being relatively anxiety-inducing. I cannot recommend her enough and wish I had found her sooner! Dr. Tiburcio provides care with exceptional kindness and understanding that all women deserve. A wonderful representative for women’s healthcare and by far the best gynecologist I have ever been to.
