Ted Hyde

I purchased a pair of Rockport Chukka boots for $130.00 and brought them to Hyde Orthotics as instructed by one of the owners. Five weeks later I received a call that a half inch lift was added to the right boot. My wife and I headed to Atlanta that afternoon. While walking to the restaurant, the sole literally fell off the shoe. I called Hyde and was told to bring it back and they would repair it by the next day. Since we live over thirty miles from Hyde, I informed them I would drop it off in a week since we live thirty miles away. When I picked the boot up, I was told that the sole was an oil base and probably not stay on, I was flabbergasted. How could the so called expert they use to add lifts not know that in the first place? Miraculously, someone at Rockport was able to glue on the original sole to the shoe base!!! Additionally, I do not think the shoemaker was the individual who originally attached the lift. The Contact Cement on the "repaired" shoes was all over the front and
