2nd experience with herDO NOT GO HERE TO SEE DR. CARLSON. I waited for over an hour and a half. I walked up to the front desk and they said there was an emergency waited another 45 minutes - I asked the front desk if this happens a lot with Dr. Carlson and they all looked off a bit and barely answered - sounds like something may be going on. Stuff was friendly and attentive. I spoke with office manager Amber is it literally felt like she was making excuses for the “doctor” - maybe this is a common experience or a larger problem with her. I’ll be filing a formal complaint with the board for her business practices. Last time I was in to see her I waited 45 minutes and it was her first appointment of the day.

Always to see great friends. So lucky to have her as my Doctor.

Dr Carlson is fully invested in her patients and care. This comes out in her charismatic yet incredibly insightful way she employs the in depth knowledge she possesses to ensure that optimal care.  Dr Carlson's care is no less than phenomenal.  I know that not all outcomes are guaranteed to be perfect, My outcome far exceeds my wildest expectations and my eyes have not always cooperated by throwing in additional twists and challenges, this is not unique to my eyes, but also not the norm. Through Dr Carlson perceptive and invested care, the condition has been identified and a solution enacted. My education throughout all of this was comforting and to the levels I desired and was capable of understanding.  Dr Carlson provided the careful explanation of the conditions I had, and the alternatives of solutions and anticipated outcomes of each. She has been my doctor for 10 years, and I could not be happier with her. She takes the time to explain what she is doing, why she is doing it, and what the effect is on me. Her recommendations are always correct, and I follow them without fail. No better doc around.

From the beginning consult, Dr. Carlson spent a lot of time to chat about hobbies, passions, and of course, expectations for LASIK. She really listens to patient needs and the results are very tailored towards her patient’s lifestyle. I have been able to compare results with several family members and friends who have gone to other facilities, and all have been shocked by the fast healing the very next day and impressive results. I can noticeably see better in the dark which was not expected. I couldn’t speak more highly of Dr. Carlson as a person and as a professional. Oh darn, the one time I enjoy going back to get my eyes checked, I can’t at a LASIK facility, otherwise I would swing by yearly to say hello!
