I want to share my experience with Terry as a therapist for my fiancé, who has been struggling with severe psychotic episodes and bipolar disorder. While Terry has been attentive to my fiancé's needs, I am deeply concerned about the lack of appropriate response to safety concerns.During a recent manic episode where my fiancé became violent and threatened my life, I reached out to Terry for assistance and guidance. However, instead of validating my fears and encouraging appropriate action, Terry questioned my judgment and criticized me for considering involving law enforcement.This response exacerbated the situation, leading to further threats and harassment from my fiancé. As someone dealing with a violent and dangerous individual, I expected Terry to prioritize safety and provide guidance on handling such situations responsibly.
