Very caring and explains issues

Seen about 14 months ago, glasses broken, can't fix, very very very poor vision ---+6.00/6.50 , requested prescription so could get a new pair, was told only good for one year, never heard this before, most prescription last two year especially when some insurance will only cover exams every two years, would have to schedule an appt. I felt that Office staff did not care about my issue. Red hair receptionist would not even ask Dr. Bechtel if she would allow an exception and no way to talk to her personally. I like Dr. Bechtel, but I need a provider who is willing to work with you when you have a crisis. The office is too rigid. Called and seen another provider in another office so I could get me a needed pair of glasses. I require glasses daily to see and my back up pair were not bifocals and they were causing me some issues.

I had been to a different eye Doctor always complaining why I couldn't see very well after cataract surgery. That doctor always gave me the impression that nothing could be done. After almost 7 years I saw Dr. Bechtel for an eye exam. She immediately told what could be done to correct the problem. I had laser surgery on both eyes and my eye sight is crystal clear.

Dr. Bechtel is more than a Dr. she is a friend to each of her patients. She has a true understanding of the eye and diseases of the eye. She has a genuine love for her profession and it shows! She is also active and contributes to her community.

Dr. Bechtel was great, thorough exam, answered all my questions and made sure I received the best lenses for my needs. The staff was great in helping me choose the the correct frames, tint and style. I highly recommend this eye site to everyone. They have an excellent variety of frames!
