Dr. Thomas Blom, OD

I lost my my prescription sunglasses so I went to LensCrafter to get a prescription and same-day new glasses. Fortunately, I got Dr. Blom for the prescription, who seems to have been filling in. My appointment was on time, not at all rushed, Dr. Blom, went the extra mile to check my lattice due to a family history. All-in it was great experience. The prescription is excellent judging from the gasses I got. I then looked up Dr. Blom on line and found his practice. My regular optometrist just retired. I've found my new one.

I went to Dr. Blom's office and hadn't been there other than for a spouse who had vision issues. e He took care of my needs in a timely manner and I am happy to support a non-big box office professional who Taylors his business to service my needs.

I have been a patient of Dr. Blom's for 6 years and I can say that he has always been very thorough and right on the dot with my prescriptions for glasses and contact lenses. He has always been on time with appointments and I have never had to wait to be seen...I wish all doctor's offices ran that well. My appointments have also been super easy to schedule within days of me calling to set it up. I saw an earlier "review" stating that Dr. Blom "doesn't have a full inventory of contact lens scipts (scripts?)". For the record, there are literally THOUSANDS of different lenses in each prescription power since the powers go from 0.00 to +/- 6.00 in .25 increments (meaning 50 trial lenses per power), the 2nd measurement which is the cylinder comes in .75, 1.25, 1.75, and 2.25 so now it's 50x4= 200 trial lenses in just one single power. Then there's the axis measurement from 10-180 (so 18). Yes, I went to school to learn about this. Anyway, that would definitely be a LOT of trials for any d

Dr. Blom is apparently a competent doctor of optometry. He is an "ANTI VAXXER". This is his choice, however, his resistance to being vaccinated is scientifically proven to enable the virus to spread and modify itself until new hosts are infected and modifications to the virus continue in a cyclical manner. As a doctor, I would expect him to be aware of this FACT! I cannot recommend anyone to use his practice until he shows more common sense and medical prudence!

I've been a patient of Dr. Blom's for 12 years. He is a wonderful optometrist. He is a single practitioner and I appreciate that. I am wearing Paragon CRT lenses. Check them out! I don't have to wear glasses or contacts during the day. Dr. Blom is one of a few doctors that handle the lenses.

I had issues with contacts in the past. I went to Dr Blom and he is amazing. Spent the needed time and got me the contacts I needed.
