Tom is an amazing mental health counselor. My husband and I fully credit him with giving us the tools to save our marriage. You can tell he has put in so much time and effort into his education, and continuing education to become the best in his field, to truly provides the best counseling services. He is passionate about mental health, and helping people. He is knowledgeable in so many unique situations, and truly knows the most healthy way to guide you to handle anything life throws at you. I always leave his office feeling optimistic. Tom helped us become better people individually, and then also become more healthy partners for one another. Others tell you what you want to hear, and give you temporary fixes. Tom tells you what you need to hear, in a non judgmental healthy, but direct way. He gives you the tools that you can use lifelong. I fully recommend his services.

I was looking up Tom’s address to send to my friend and noticed a couple of 1*reviews but a lot of 4 and 5*. Tom is an outstanding counselor that I owe my life to as he straightened me out a few times in my life. Thanks for being there Tom when I needed you most!

I would not recommend Tom, as he spends several minutes of your 45-minute appointment talking about billing and other items that should be handled outside the therapy window. He also blatantly diminshed mine and my husband's parenting style while in a session with my son, so we no longer see him and now I get the fun work of trying to build up our credibility to my teenager.

I was lucky to find Tom during a very difficult time in my life. Tom really took the time to discuss and work with me to really help me understand the root cause of my challenges and I left Aeschylus session feeling better about myself and how I think. I often reflect on our discussions and continue to be in a great place in my life. All I can say is thank you Tom for your help and guidance.

Mr. Tom as my son and I refer to him, has been our family counselor since February 14, 2011. As a single mom raising a son who has a long list of psychiatric diagnoses with brain damage who can talk and run but he is challenged in every aspect of his life. Mr Tom has been a saving grace all these years with each and every new and even intense challenges children and people go through. He has always been extremely respectful, professional and has massive experience to help u through challenges.

I highly recommend Thomas. He’s the best therapist I’ve ever been to, and I’ll forever use the lessons, and tools I’ve gained from him to help me live a happy and healthy life. I’ve been to therapists before, and no one has given me the tools and keys to healthy recovery from my own past and issues like he has. His knowledge, experience, insight and technique of combining therapy, books, and attending a support group helped me tremendously, and will continue to do so.

I wouldn't recommend this doctor. On the contrary to this page saying he accepts insurance, he does not. He charges $100. Also knowing you were ill, if unable to cancel within 24hrs he charges for a full visit. Please if you are a low income recipient looking for help he isn't the person to see!

Thomas, saved my life, I was so despondent. And spiraling, down and he was my lifesaving tool, he listened and explained to me how my past was not all my fault even tho I thought I felt that I had made a lot of bad decisions, anyway he is an awsome counselor and a great friend, I've never been able to talk to anyone in my 61 years until I met Thomas, he made me feel so good, please tell HIM EVERYTHING

When I began seeing Thomas, I was in a very chaotic time in my life. He is very professional and courteous. He recommended some books that aided in keeping me on the road to rehab. The recommended group therapy was also beneficial in seeing that I was not alone. The approach he takes with his clients is individual and beneficial. His type of therapy helped me to gain a clear perspective of my life and take control of my future. I have recommended his services to several others and would again.

Thomas Buonomo was a phenomenal sounding board as I made a major life change a few years ago. I found that his approach provided extremely valuable tools to make actionable decisions. He came highly recommended and he exceeded expectations. Years later I still consider his advice and tools as being instrumental in helping me make the decision to move, and to successfully pursue a career change. For anyone making a change, I would recommend him as a sensible guide for considering your options.
