Dr. Thomas Fulbrook, PHD

When a friend asks you for help finding a good psychologist, or you know someone who is struggling through some trauma in their life, and they ask your opinion, you can tell them, “I know a guy”!That guy is Dr. Thomas Fulbrook. I have had several psychologists over a period of 38 years and 4 states. I know Dr. Tom will be the one to help me finalize dealing with my childhood trauma and lay it to rest. He is a very caring and understanding Dr. and he has a great sense of humor. He takes things at my pace, and doesn’t push me, yet he knows just when to ask the right questions too. His tests and worksheets are easy to follow and complete, I really enjoyed doing those. He always makes sure I am in a good place both mentally and emotionally before we end a session. I am very blessed. I have been dealing with some intense issues that need a particular type of psychologist to work with and my psychiatrist told me “ I know a guy “!!

I think everyone goes through difficult times in their life. For me it was difficult to find someone who had the mental and emotional capacity and fortitude to assist me in my life. This therapist listened had varying techniques, and ways of addressing many issues both present and past. There are some people that impact your life significantly. Over time and some personal growth, I can honestly say he has helped me. I highly recommend him whether you are in a crisis situation or just need a little help.

One star was required, or I’d have chosen zero stars. I explained to this “therapist” that I was stuck in a marriage with an abusive narcissist and his advice to me was to do what I could to make my abusive husband feel safe. He was also negatively critical, not supportive, and he made me feel like I was a burden that he had to “defend” to my insurance company. When it came time for him to step up and own his mistaken behavior, he changed my appointment time to a time he knew I couldn’t attend.

Great experience dealing with this man. He is easy to talk to.

Tom has been and continues to be the bright light in my day. He listens and is most insightful. I am able to address any subject with him and feel completely comfortable in doing so. I find his advice and reviews of my situation [s] most helpful. Spending time with Tom is time well spent.

He was very easy to talk to. Very knowledgeable about medical problems. Wonderful at giving tips to help/prevent depression after surgery. Would highly recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Fulbrook has been a joy to work with. His grasp on what I am dealing with is helpful and reassuring. His relaxed attitude and comfortable surroundings help me relax. I have done some therapy in the past and find Dr. Fulbrook a cut above.
