Past sessions
He actively engages with finding the what’s, why’s, and how’s of a situation for a patient. However after some time, he’ll refer back to behavioral patterns of a client that weren’t the best and point them out and heavily emphasize them. He may also raise his voice at times. Knowing the past is important, but not to where one will get sick over it. Like me, if you’re well enough aware of your past, want to feel self-control and curious why you feel sad or anxious, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with an LPC vs an LCSW may be more useful.
