Yesterday, I had the pleasure of an appointment with Dr. Thomas M. Walent, O.D. and his staff at The Eye Center - Westfield Independence Mall in Wilmington, North Carolina. From scheduling to the actual appointment, EVERYTHING was professional, courteous and friendly. There was NO DOUBT they were there to take care of my needs and fully respected my opinions.

Dr. Walent is one of the most caring people I know. He's an excellent doctor who is very knowledgeable and explains things so well. He not only cares about your eyes but cares about you as a person. He always goes above and beyond. He is top notch and I would recommend only him to my friends and family.

Dr. Thomas Walent was fantastic. He understood my hesitation with going to my Veterans Affairs office and how to document my prescription to help bridge the gap for benefits through the VA when it comes to my eyes. He is very reassuring, always letting me know to contact them if anything comes up. He is an expert in his field with the best technology I have ever seen to give me an accurate reading of not only my eyes but my health. Best eye doctor ever, best staff ever, Best visit I've ever had.
