Dr. Timothy Blankenship, OD

I had dry eyes causing increased light sensitivity. I also have big eyes that run in my family. The ER referred me to Dr. T. Blankenship whom my first visit, did not take any time to ask me what was going on and professionally access the cause. He rudely assumed that I had thyroid disease and referred me to a specialist who took the time to advise that I do not have thyroid eye disease and didn't want to waste time. Just by looking at me, he explained what people with thyroid problems look like and apologized for the previous experience. Dr. Blankenship showed no concern or empathy and I was only in his presence for a total of 8 minutes for him to throw me off to the next doctor. With his years of experience I would expect more out of him.

Dr Blankenship is an excellent choice in eye care. I have been a T1D for over 53 years and feel that he takes excellent care of my eyes, and refers me on to others if need be. Thanks Dr Blankenship!

Dr. Blankenship has excellent people skills and knows how to take care of both kids and adults. He takes time to answer all questions and make you feel at ease. Trust my family’s eye care with him.

Dr. Blankenship gave both of my sons eye exams today. The entire staff was friendly and efficient. Dr. Blankenship was thorough in his examination and we were very happy with his care!

I had an eye emergency and was unable to be seen by my regular optometrist---Dr Blankenship and his office were able to see me that day! I had somehow gotten a small piece of plastic in my eye. They were able to remove it and get me the right antibiotic drops---my vision is as good as new! It was a scary experience but Dr B and the office staff were amazing!

My daughter was having very bad headaches, and it was recommended that her vision be checked as a possible cause. Dr. Blankenship was able to work us in quickly, and the staff was awesome. Dr. Blankenship spent a great deal of time with us, providing an extremely thorough examination as well as explanation of everything that they were doing and the reasons behind it. He is so kind and caring, which put my nervous daughter at ease. I have referred many others to him!

I have been going to Dr. Blankenship for years! Dr. Blankenship is very conscientious, spends all the time that you need to make sure the evaluation is incredibly thorough and has a wonderful manner about him! He is incredibly intelligent and you can tell he loves what he does! I will continue to refer Dr. Blankenship to anybody I know that needs Eye care!

I have sent my 80 year old grandmother to Dr. B several times the last few years. He is extremely patient and kind with her taking the time needed to make sure she feels heard, as well as making sure she understands her condition and her treatment options. Dr. B, thanks taking care of us!

My family and I have been going to see Dr BlANkenship for years. He's courteous and always makes myself, my wife and our children feel extremely comfortable and confident in the care we receive.

Dr Blankenship is great! He always goes above and beyond to make my family's experience top notch. Thankful to have found such a great Dr!

Dr. Blankenship was friendly, professional and thorough. He had a great demeanor and offered helpful advice about my eyesight. He spent a considerable amount of time with me and he did not seemed rushed to finish the appointment. I would recommend him to anyone.

The staff is nice and I don't wait long. I used to see Dr. Senica but she retired. I do not care for Dr. Blankenship at all. Terrible bedside manner. He refused to write me a new prescription without dilating my eyes which is something they did not tell me when I made my appointment, and something I did not have time for today. I also felt that Dr. Blankenship yelled at me to MAKE UP YOUR MIND and I did not appreciate that AT ALL. I am switching doctors after that experience.
