For all her years of experience, she should have been much more effective. Seemed like she just wanted to chat and shoot the breezeAfter 2 visits, I decided to get someone with more expertise.

Valerie Naman is very professional yet make me feel so comfortable. I appreciate all the patients she has and I also love that she gets right to the issues without stalling for time in my sessions.

If I can save one couple who are struggling to save their marriage, this review will be well worth my time to write. A marriage counselor is usually trained to be compassionate and unbiased. Not this one! She is the exact opposite, who early on made it loud and clear whose side she was taking. How very unprofessional to do this to people seeking your help. Scolded me like a child and was often spoken down to rudely in a very negative condescending tone. This woman actually created more problems between us which never existed before we walked into her office, like it was her job. I paid for this?? My husband & I both decided it was best for us to part ways. Not with each other. With her! Thankfully, we’re presently working with a new therapist who helps BOTH of us with OUR issues. We’re doing so much better now and our marriage has improved. Ms. Naman is clearly in the wrong profession and needs a new day job. I’m pretty sure some of those positives reviews above were self-written.

She listens to your truth and is never judgmental. She saved my marriage. She walked my husband and I through a really dark moment and facilitated our growth. It was painful and yet so beautiful. I have never been so appreciative of anyone's guidance in our marriage than I am of hers. I have referred additional clients who have extended gratitude for their meeting. I am a better wife, mother, friend, daughter and ultimately a better ME because I met her. Truly a blessing.

If you are trying to save your marriage, DO NOT go to this counselor! Instead of helping, she nearly destroyed our relationship by creating more problems. This woman is EXTREMELY rude, condescending & incredibly biased - she clearly favors men. Another client 100% agreed. I felt belittled during our sessions. It seemed as if she was on a mission to turn my spouse against me. It nearly worked! If your marriage is important to you, I highly suggest looking elsewhere. My 1st negative review ever!
