Vanessa Beard-Ely, PA

I was sad to learn that PA Vanessa Beard was leaving Revere Neurology. She was an outstanding physician who had my best interest, as a patient, at heart. She was patient, took copious notes, was highly informative, and always listened to my concerns and questions. She is rare- I sincerely hope her new patients see her value as a PA. She won't let you down.

I would totally recommend PA Vanessa to anyone who has answers and has never gotten the right answers. Pa thank you for this opportunity, to change my appointment from in office to telemedicine. It’s a great opportunity for patients and staff to have the ability to is so professional, kind and passionate about patients. She is always helping us, patients. Thanks!

After being hospitalized on two separate occasions from what the doctor on call and my primary care doctor diagnosed as tonic-clonic seizures, this woman said was stress. I traveled 40 miles from home to an appointment scheduled with her. I had slurred speech from having lost the ability to communicate fully and could not remember in full detail what was happening to me. I honestly do not remember much of my visit with her as I have had seizures since seeing her which has greatly affected my short term memory. The prescriptions she prescribed have had no affect because they are not for seizures and my convulsions have intensified since. Not to mention I have a family history that includes epilepsy. Yet, she hands me a diagnosis of stress and recommended a therapist. I am exhausted from the muscle spasms, loss of memory, and lack of sleep. I am frightened when my mind goes blank after these experiences and I lose my ability to speak. She needs to be evaluated by the board of neurology!

Didn’t believe me when I said I was seeing auroras and having pain behind my right eye. My optic nerve was severely swollen and she still didn’t believe my symptoms until my father told her to do a spinal tap. It was outrageous how high my number went up which shocked everyone in the room. Even after that experience, she still treated me poorly. Don’t ever go to this woman! I was 16 or 17 during that.
