Do not use this podiatrist for surgery or anything
Had bunion surgery summer 2024- after surgery he did not see him no instructions (was told he was gone for day ) was only given (muscle relaxer as pain mgmt). For two weeks this med destroyed my stomach. I only had instructions to keep boot on. I tried to have the initial 2 week follow up appt but he canceled. The nurse called to reschedule so he would not be in office for anothe 3 weeks so five weeks later - I had first post op surgery. My foot had blood blisters that had not been managed and now were extremely deep. I literally kept the boot on for 5 weeks because he told me via nurse so now Achilles was inflamed. I booked follow up 2 weeks after this now foot is infected and rash all over body-fever. He canceled this follow up again and I went to ER for treatment. When I saw him it was almost 9 weeks post surgery. he said he had gotten married and literally was ignorant to his lack of care. DO NOT USE this surgeon. My foot is still messed up 6 months later. The best!
I'm so disappointed to see negative reviews, all of my experiences with Dr. Seferovic have been excellent! He’s clearly knowledgable, extremely personable, and clearly cares deeply for his patients. His passion for the field is immediately evident. I was referred to him with severe arthritis in my feet and he presented all my options clearly and efficiently. After the initial thirty-minute appointment, he literally had a care plan in place for me for the next sixty years! I’ve since gone back routinely for cortisone shots that have provided immense relief. In my experience, he is always very considerate and hygienic. I always leave his office pain-free and feeling infinitely more mobile. The medical assistants, nurses, and front desk staff are always excellent too. I’m grateful to have found this doctor and this practice.

Do NOT see this doctor
Dr. Seferovic rushed through my appt. He took a scalpel, didn't sterilize the area, and dug into a corn I had on my foot. Rather than taking off a top layer, he dug deep into the corn, and it began to bleed profusely. Without cleaning the area, he put a band-aid on the corn. He instructed me to come back if I continued to have issues, but he didn't check to see if I had further questions or give me instructions for dealing with the now open wound on my foot. All together, he was with me for about five minutes. He repeated questions, which gave me the impression that he didn't listen me. When I received the visit summary and read the notes, Dr. Seferovic wrote, 'No bleeding or discharge noted.' This contradicts my experience--I left the appointment with dried blood all over my foot. This is the worst experience I've had with a doctor.

AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS
I had a callous on my foot that I thought might also have a corn. I visited him to check it out and give me his feedback. Without asking, he took a scalpel and cut off the callous and corn. He did not ask for permission to perform the surgery, no warning, did not numb it. He cut into healthy flesh as well as the callous, and it really hurt 9 of 10. He slapped on a band aid, told me that I could take it off the next day, and left without further instructions. I was so upset that I was dripping with sweat afterwards. Thankfully, I do not have a heart problem. He should have told me what needed to be done, asked if it was a good time to do it, and provided a local anesthetic. He did none of those things. I want to clarify that I have no argument with what he did. The surgery took care of the problem, and the wound is healing well. It's how he did it. Avoid him at all costs. I'm also disappointed with the hospital’s lack of response to my complaint.

It was my second visit with Dr. Seferovic. He was somewhat ‘a runt’ and distant. Seem to not take a genuine interest relative to my concerns. He never physically examined my foot to my recollection. I would not recommend him based on my personal experience.
