At the risk of sounding dramatic, Vern completely changed my life. I’m very thankful that my therapist recommending him to me because my life has become a great deal better since. I’ve battled chronic depression, crippling generalized and social anxiety, and panic attacks for nearly half of my life. Before I started seeing Vern, my symptoms were rapidly evolving into agoraphobia to the point that I rarely left my house unless it was absolutely necessary. Over the several months, Vern has patiently worked with me to address each of my symptoms and has been totally accommodating to ensure everything is covered by my insurance. Thanks to him, my life is finally manageable again and I don’t have to plan my life around mental health episodes. He also has a great bedside manner and is always very calming to talk to—I appreciate that a lot because I typically dread appointments of any kind. Lisa manages his appointments and is also incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive.

This provider lets his personal bias affect his care and is wreclkess in prescribing before he has all of the facts. He also practices out of scope diagnosing medical problems of the body without proper tests. He attempted to prescribe me meds without asking what I had already tried. He is also not careful and compassionate with his vulnerable client’s feelings.

Amazing mental health professional. Has helped me so much managing my anxiety and depression. My work and personal life has definitely been improved with treatment from him!
