She is untrustworthy.

Basically feels like I'm getting ghosted despite a plan when we first talked. Seems impossible to get even someone to give you info much less an appointment despite what she said at the start. I have done everything on my end to get an appointment that she told me to do and am waiting on her...for over a month. I have called and left a message begging her to let me know if she can't help anymore so I can try to find someone else and not keep waiting around for her. I have mailtags on my emails so I can see she gets them an opens them. I am just so tired of trying to get help for so long and having the mental health community fail people. AT LEAST COMMUNICATE WITH PEOPLE PLEASE, DR. RAVENSBERG!!!!! A quick email with info so I can make informed decisions about my care if best.

She is extremely bad at returning phone calls, emails, etc. I was strung along for a year, only every two or three months provided a vague email about her progress towards just scheduling the assessment I requested. Last I heard she was going to complete the process in December. It's almost April now and no word. It's unprofessional for any doc to be unable to set appropriate boundaries with their time, and continually waste the time of patients. Pains me to leave something like this, but it's really unacceptable. Learn to say no or follow through on your yes. Just baffles me further that like, I'm looking specifically for an autism assessment, right? So whether I am autistic or not, I probably have a little rigidity in my life, right? Issues with expectation violation, yeah? So maybe, just maybe, it would be smart to not do the whole wishy washy crummy communication thing in general, but super duper especially to someone like me, riiiiiight? Right. I'm done trying to follow up.
