Awful
The staff is awful and 2 minutes into my session it was canceled due to some payment issue they didn't mention beforehand. Dr. Vinny didn't even have the decency to call me back. He should take up a new profession. Just awful

My son (12 y.o.) was on medication for ADHD but it was not working. After about 2 years of taking him to therapy and battling to make sure he took his meds i got tired of his behavior and i asked our pediatrician for help. She referred us to Dr Vinnie and we tested him for different things. First, let me say that the fact that this person takes our insurance is a huge plus! (we have Medi-Cal). It turns out my son has some visual problems that was preventing him to be able to focus and thus get distracted. Once the eye doctor visited him, he was surprised how Dr Vinnie was able to catch it and not the psychiatrist. My son still has ADHD but the symptoms are much less intense, thank also to a specific type of glasses the he is wearing. And for the first time in his life he can study for about 1 hour without any distraction!!!!

Dr Vinnie was recommended to me by my PCP (I was diagnosed with schizo-affective disorder). I was scared to hear again "sorry i don't take insurance" Guess what? Best thing i ever did! He takes my insurance, Medicare (which means zero $ to pay!!!!) and my issues are much less intense. My psychiatrist wants to know how I have managed not to go to the hospital in 8 months and my answer was "I found someone who does not tell me what to do and hears my pain when i cry and is there with me!"

I started my therapy 1.5 years ago. Because my father abused me (emotionally), I wanted to work only with a male therapist who could help me understand if it was me or my father. Wow! never felt so connected with a man in my life! At times, during my therapy, i wish he had been my father, but i knew it couldn't happen. Well, today that I am a business owner I can tell you that I have highly appreciated all his explanations, even those that i disagreed with! Thank you Vinny!

I was referred to Dr Piccirillo by the social worker at Huntington Hospital after my husband was hospitalized for renal disease. I was feeling depressed and sad, scared of what would happen if my husband died. Fortunately I learned to take life no longer as granted by as a gift, and Dr Piccirillo was my safe boat. (Also my husband is now at home! Yeah!)
