Inexperienced, not knowledgeable

This PA comes across as inexperienced and not knowing what she's talking about. She recklessly asked me to detail the events of a recent traumatic experience without checking in to see if I would be okay or triggered, effectively re-triggering me. After I told her my symptoms have gotten better due to EMDR therapy, she still pushed medication without any explanation as to why she was making these recommendations and what the various medications that do different things should be recommended for PTSD (I think she didn't know herself). I was looking for psychiatrist recommendations or reasonable accommodations for work not to have medications pushed on me. To my knowledge, the latest research is showing that SSRIs and the types of medications that increase serotonin are not a best practice for the types of symptoms I was experiencing. DO NOT GO TO THIS PRACTICE! Irresponsible practice. Avoid especially if you have had a past trauma.
