I too go to Dr. Hansen, most specifically for Graston work. I've been three times and expect to return monthly or bi-monthly for the foreseeable future. Sometimes Graston does have the effect Ashley mentions above. Graston works by releasing the muscle facia by using the bar(s) by rubbing it across the muscles. It totally helps loosen my hamstrings and helps my lower back issues. And the way he worked my legs was the same I've received in the past, so I didn't have any reason to worry. I've been having chiros/physical therapists do Graston and dry needling for 8+ years. Totally worth it.

worst experience i've ever had. mr. hansen used a "tool" on me called the grasten tool. he caused me more harm than good. my back was black and blue. i went in wanting relief from an injury and mr. hansen gave me an additional injury to what i already had. he is irresponsible and the chiropractor i followed up with said that tool should not be used. i'm just now starting to feel better and it's been a year. do NOT go to him.
