I wanted to leave this review right after the appointment on October 11, but I decided to wait until I had seen another doc. so I could be fully objective with my feedback.
I met Dr. Janes on Oct. 11 at the Jersey City location (2 Journal Sq). From the get-go, he seemed uninterested in listening to my issues. It felt like I was talking to a wall. I explained my condition and the pain and demonstrated my walk/gait, only to catch him not even listening. His generic response was: continue with your physiotherapist. It felt like he was just waiting for me to pause so he could tell me "tough luck," metaphorically speaking.
After I left, I was discouraged and hesitated to call another orthopedist lest I should hear the same prognosis. I told my physiotherapist about the meeting and he was equally enraged and suggested I meet another doc. I finally had a good meeting with another doctor and it validated my opinion of Dr. Janes. And it restored my faith in the healthcare profess
