Underwhelming treatment, bad hours + communication
This is a review of IU Health's sleep psychology program led by Dr. Chernyak. I was on a 5-month wait list to be seen because they see patients only on Tuesdays, which is an inconvenience. You're seen by a grad student -- not Dr. Chernyak, who only pops in on your Zoom appointments for a couple minutes. The grad student I saw offered only basic information about insomnia treatment that anyone who's battled insomnia for years already knows. The grad student left the program but scheduled a final appmt for me with Dr. Chernyak. A very unhelpful receptionist called me to cancel the appmt with no future dates given. She was supposed to call me back to reschedule my appmt but never did.
