Great Provider!
I've been seeing Dr. Powell for years, and she's wonderful to talk to and a great listener! I would highly recommend her to anybody looking for a new provider! :)

Avoid Yoneka if you are LGBTQIA+! She does not make any effort to respect your correct name or pronouns. She is not competent when it comes to medication management. She is condescending and dismissive. This entire practice is a mess from top to bottom. Avoid if you value your mental health.

Yoneka is an amazing psychiatrist. She's very understanding and personable. She truly desires to help. She has a very calm and sensible spirit.

I really enjoyed seeing Yoneka Powell for my mental health needs. I learned a lot about myself through my visits with her. I found out that I have a condition, which I thought I did, but it was confirmed through additional testing that she was able to collect. My life has significantly improved while being under her care. Additionally, Yoneka is very compassionate, and never makes you feel uncomfortable. I always enjoyed seeing her. I am using a past tense on this review, due to her now being out of network with my current insurance.
