Dr. Julie Staggers, DDS

We went through 2 of the consult and records visit and then when I had questions she snapped rudely at me to “let her finish” I had already discussed my daughters case with her at consult and I have done research and gotten second opinions. Not recommended for intelligent patients she was determined to get through her rehearsed consult speech and could not be kind when I had a specific question. She may be very affordable and good at what she does but I cannot get past her grouchy rude snap back at me. We left and will not be going back! I have no tolerance for rudeness as I am always kind. Patients should be met with respect always.

One star is being generous. I was seen by Dr. Staggers to have a permanent retainer made. She called me after realizing she could not put it on the back of my teeth and I would have to put it on the front. I agreed on the phone but she insisted I come in so she can talk to me about it. I took off 45 minutes of work to go over and agree in person to what we talked about on the phone. (I found this as disrespectful of my time, and my job because I had already agreed on the on the phone.) I am then accepted to a therapy that using magnetic transmission and am told I can not have metal in my mouth. When I call to relay the information, they say they will not make the retainer for my lower teeth and they are taking half of what I have paid. She was upset I would not take another hour off work because she wanted to talk to me. I had no problem talking to her on the phone but I did not need to go into the office. I am not dumb and completely clueless. I understood what she said on our first meeting. Needless to say she she is charging me $250 for 30 minutes of her time and nothing being done to my teeth. I would not be able to sleep knowing I am charging a patient for no real treatment especially when the patient just got the opportunity to receive treatment that is vital to her overall wellbeing. I was charged $45 for the consulatation and have no issues with that, it is the extra $200 and some that I am being charged for no treatment to my teeth. She does not respect your time, your job, or if you have serious health issues that can now be treated but makes you not able to use her. Unprofessional, rough when handling your mouth, and disrespectful of others time and jobs.

I went to Dr Staggers to discuss some orthodontic issues, and she gave me a straight, professional opinion and price with no gimmicks or sales pitches. She was very professional, as was her staff, and I came away with the best advice I could have been offered. I strongly recommend her for your orthodontic needs.

Dr. Staggers has done a great job with my daughter's teeth. There were a lot of challenges since she grew up in an orphanage in the Ukraine with poor dental care (not to mention trauma with the memory of that care), but Dr. Staggers has done a great job and now her teeth look straight and she's on the homestretch of wearing the retainer.

She is amazing. Knows exactly what she is talking about when it comes to the health of her patients, very concered and caring Dr.

As a former orthodontic patient of Dr. Staggers, I must conclude that her skill set & practice is not what most families truly expect — or deserve. Her transparent attitude subsides relatively quickly and is fast-tracked by a miserly mood that seems more concerned about profit and office politics than the general well-being of patients. Above all else, beware of her deceptive billing. If her prices seem to be such a "good deal" then ask yourself — why? Trust me, you won't get what you pay for.

I have no doubt Staggers is one of the best orthodontists in this area. I went to her for her for issues relating to TMJ. I wasn't getting any answers from other health professionals. She took the time to explain in detail with demonstrations; knowing that she would not make any money because my problem will not be fixed with orthodontics. She's clearly an academic that knows her own field as well as those related. Her advice is already helping and I'm incredibly grateful.

Dr. Staggers is very thorough and focused. She has done a wonderful job straighten my son's teeth. I know they will look wonderful when she is done. The staff is very friendly, courteous and accommodating to your schedule.

Caring, considerate, experience, affordable

On our last day & our fitting for our son's retainer, I can report we had ease of appointments, nice & friendly office staff. I foresee needs for a set of braces in the future and will be happily returning. My son's case was unique and Dr. Staggers took the time to try and find solutions & demonstrated calm when faced with the many questions we had. Thank you!

I feel Dr. Staggers is very knowledgeable and explains in detail your treatment plan. She has always been willing to answer any of my questions. However, Dr. Staggers is very upfront about what she expects from the patient and the adult overseeing the patient, if a child. I like this about Dr. Staggers. Orthodontics is not a quick fix and Dr. Staggers makes sure you are prepared for this. I would recommend Dr. Staggers to other patients.
