Painful Colonoscopy
This doctor uses minimal sedation apparently. I went to the Chino Hills location. They were one and a half hours late in starting this procedure. I was fully alert for this procedure and when I started to tell them I was in pain, they told me to breath through it. I could feel my hands cramping as I must have been hyperventilating or panicking. The doctor continued the procedure and I continued to cry in pain. finally they gave me more sedation. As I woke up, they rushed me out the door without any information as I heard them give to other patients at discharge. They had me take pictures of what they had of my insides and an envelope with discharge orders. Not impressed with this doctor or this surgery center. I will be contacting my insurance as well to complain about this. I hope he did not do any major damage to my body as it was NOT a smooth procedure, not was it what everyone else told me their experience had been of a colonoscopy.
