I recently went to Presken Family Care because I had the flu and wanted to make sure I didn’t have pneumonia. Deborah S Presken was the doctor who saw me. She was rude and demeaning throughout the visit and only spent 10 minutes checking my pulse and listening to my chest before declaring I needed to go to the Emergency Room. I told her I don’t think this is an emergency and asked her if there was anything she could do for me and she said no. A month later I received a bill from her for $300 dollars which was $100 more than what urgent care charged me including prescriptions and x-rays. I called her office to ask for a reduction and it was an external billing company that said I can’t talk to her, she does not negotiate and they will send me to collections if I don’t pay in full. This was the worst overall experience I have ever had with a medical professional and I hope this post helps you decide not to waste your time and money visiting her.
