Dr. Oparaeche would not recognize my husband's Ankylosing Spondylitis which was originally diagnosed in another country. And, after 8 weeks on Enbrel, has now refused to give him the ONLY medication that has given him any relief in years! We are both aware that he has multiple issues, not just the AS, causing him pain, but now, without the medication to alleviate ONE of his pains, we are back to a much more difficult and unhappy lifestyle. FYI: HE HAS ALL THE OTHER SYMPTOMS AND THE HLA-B27 GENE, WHICH INDICATES THAT ALTHOUGH THE SI JOINTS ARE NOT DAMAGED, HIS PROBLEM CAN BE DIAGNOSED AS AS. Dr. Oparaeche's refusal to acknowledge this, or even to just LISTEN to him and GIVE A HOOT about the suffering he lives with is VERY disappointing!
