The wait was absolutely ridiculous. I had to leave. When I told them I had to go back to work, they went into the exam room of another patient and pulled the doc out. He gave me a very perfunctory exam, I am sure so he could still charge my insurance for the appointment. I declined offered prescriptions and left. In hindsight, in my opinion formed after having had one new patient appointment and this follow up, this doc hates his job with a passion and just puts in his time until he can retire. He says things by rote, he’s said the same things so many times, I’m sure. The curiosity of a scientist/physician is gone. I feel for him but won’t be a patient.
