Great Doctor, terrible staff.
The communication and availability of Dr. Rivas's staff is terrible. They cancel appointments without notification, they rarely answer the phone when you call, and they seem to never be able to get a diagnostic authorization by themselves. Twice I have driven all the way to the office in Hollywood only to find out that my appointment had been cancelled and they themselves cannot find any record of a notification phone call. Instead of apologizing they just shrug their shoulders. When you finally get to see Dr. Rivas or Dr. Gonzalez, they are wonderful doctors.
