Having dealt with near sightedness & overall poor vision all my life, I was ready to resign myself to a life of wearing glasses. I’d tried it all before visiting the Filutowski Eye Institute. Staff was friendly & professional. I went through a series of eye exams and multiple consults before surgery day. Throughout the process, I met with several doctors - Dr Rojanashthien, Dr Perlman, and ultimately my assigned surgeon, Dr Filutowski. All highly knowledgeable and caring. Each described the cataract surgery process, answering all questions. Never did I feel rushed and none of it sounded like a sales pitch.I tend to get very nervous even going to the dentist, but Vicky Terrio, the surgery center mgr, made it a point to be there to hold my hand. This is the type of care you can expect.Dr Filutowski & his team of highly trained professionals are amazing! I now enjoy 20/20 vision and am still in awe of how clear, sharp and colorful the world around me is.

Front desk charged double what the pre-visit paperwork stated. 3 hour process for a consultation. Dr Diamond was generous with her time and explanation of what needed to be addressed. Insurance guy had absolutely no idea why my coverage was “coming back” a certain way….said I could call him back…but not right away because he had many unanswered emails and was very busy….worst medical appointment experience I have ever had…..would never….ever recommend Daytona Filutowski
