Dr. Robert Grossmann, OD

Dr. Grossman is always professional, friendly, optimistic and smiling. I've never seen or heard him be anything but extremely kind with the staff. I hope he doesn't retire before I've left this area or earth. I trust 100% +.

I used to work here and moved out of the area, but travel back every year because i like the Dr. and staff.

I was very impressed with all the professionalism displayed by all the workers at Filutowski Eye Institute. The first thing I noticed was the business ran on time. After I finished my paperwork, I met with Dr. Robert Grossmann for my consultation. He was a no-nonsense guy who got right to the point of why we were sitting across from each other. I've been a patient for 8 years now and Dr. Grossmann is the best in his profession. Always provides a terrific patient experience. Very professional, straightforward and honest.

The doctor's very professional and direct manner was followed up with a very thorough and honest evaluation. He answered all my questions and he did not make me feel rushed. When my appointment was done I felt like I had been examined by one of the best.

Found him to be straight forward and honest. Although my cataracts are dense, he advised me to pay attention while reading and if it became less comfortable that would be the time to consider surgery, otherwise come back next year for an exam. I have been to two cataract surgeons last year and one this January who said immediate surgery was necessary. Does not sound money-motivated to me as some have suggested.

Have been seeing Dr Grossman for over 10 years. He is the best. I can honestly say he saved my eyesight with early detection of retinal detachment and rapid referral to a retinal surgeon the eyesight was saved. I would highly recommend him and his staff

Dr. Grossmann is very knowledgeable. He answers all my questions and informs me in what to do so I may keep in mind on what to look for till the next appt. I have always been well cared for.

On Time Efficient and Thorough.

My mom and I took my 86 year old grandmother to Dr. Grossmann last week to have her eyes evaluated after being seen at many different retina specialists. While we realized that this office is a cataract and lasik institute, she was adamant on coming to this "well-renowned" office to see if they could offer assistance. The office staff was very helpful and understanding of my grandmother's aliments and troubles. However, when Dr. Grossmann came into the exam room, I could not have been more shocked at his dismissive, harsh, and arrogant bedside manner. As a medical professional myself, I was absolutely floored at how he treated my grandmother, as well as my mother and myself. He came in and reviewed her chart, and then without introducing himself or even asking my grandmother's name or who my mom and I were, he proceeded with his exam. My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Grossman for almost two years. Dr. Grossman is a straight shooter, this is only practice that I have had the opportunity to be treated and not be made to feel like a number. He explained everything to me about my eye health and did not, I repeat, did not push anything in order to raise the cost of a procedure. I expected to be told I was ready to have cataracts removed.
