Oviedo Medical Center

I was scheduled to have surgery at Oviedo Medical Center-I called several times to this facility over a 2 week period and left messages for the surgery scheduler to arrange Preop testing. They never responded to any of my calls. I notified my surgeon's office Thursday prior to a Monday surgery-they assured me I was on the schedule and I should receive a call from the hospital Friday before my Monday surgery. Friday morning-Oviedo Medical Center still had not called back. Around 4pm my surgeon's office called to say I was NOT on Oviedo Medical Center surgery schedule, the facility would not put me on the schedule because preop testing was needed and they could not do it Friday nor the day of surgery. My Surgeon's office attempted to call Oviedo Medical Center Surgery Schedulers again, but they would not respond to calls nor emails from the surgeon. This type of customer service is irresponsible but tolerated by administration. Changed hospitals for fear of their care.
